Christina Inserra 

Since the early days of my career in textile art for retail giants Sportsgirl and Roger David, I’ve known that designing digital goodness is my calling. Along the way (13 phenomenal years and counting!), I’ve collected an Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design, a retired bedding label that brought to life some of my first-ever freelance textile designs and since 2017, my full-time passion, The Design Parlour. 

With a steady stream of art-driven clients, I’m grateful to have made over 300 brand’s design-dreams come true with Skylarose Co, Jaggad Athletic, Mulberry Threads and The Lullaby Club among the ranks. Frequently described as “one of the best decisions for my business!”, my work as an Australian textile artist has reached bestseller success time and time again, enabling small businesses to launch with confidence and outshine the big players. 

Over the years, my colour-drenched and trend-led signature style has been commissioned by Vagary The Label for fashion textile art that’s warm and nostalgic; a sweet-as-pie Chekoh Baby x The Lullaby Club sleepwear collaboration; and countless floral-forward collections for Australian fashion icon, Sabo Skirt. With that said, whatever the brief and whoever the brand, I promise a collaborative process that’s equal parts fun and easy. 

When I’m not wielding my wacom tablet or unearthing inspo from the fringes of nature, you’ll find me at Sephora, a local winery or dreaming up another European holiday (Paris, Italy and Malta fuelled the creation of my Hotel Limonera Print collection – which sold out in just 3 minutes. So, I’d gladly do it all over again!).
